Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) In-Person

Enhance Your Teaching with the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW)

Join us for a four-day, hands-on workshop designed to strengthen your teaching skills and deepen your understanding of student-centered learning. The ISW is an interactive, collaborative experience where faculty engage in peer-supported teaching practice, constructive feedback, and reflective dialogue. Over four full days (August 7, 8, 11, and 12), you'll design and deliver three short lessons, exchange feedback with peers, and explore strategies to enhance student engagement and learning.

Successful completion of the face-to-face ISW is recognized as equivalent to PIDP 3220 for the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP). Participants must commit to attending the full four days to receive their certificate.

Note: Each section of the ISW must have a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6. If there is a sufficiently long waitlist, we will open up additional sections. If full, please join the waitlist if you are interested in registering for the ISW.
