Instructional Media Workshop (IMW) In-Person
The Instructional Media Workshop (IMW) is equivalent to PIPD 3240. Through the IMW, participants will be able to create, select, use, and assess media, technology, and tools for their teaching and learning. The course emphasizes the application of media related concepts, copyright laws, media approaches, and learning theories in the creation and selection of instructional media. Participants will investigate current trends and issues and will be introduced to a wide range of instructional media tools as well as producing teaching assets for their individual practice.* (*Based on the Vancouver Community College course description for PIPD 3240.)
Participation is limited to 20 participants, so register early!
Dates: October 18, 30, & November 6, & 15, 2025
Time: Saturdays 9:00am – 4:30pm In-person, and Thursday evenings 6:30pm – 9:00pm online
