Ai Sandbox Series: Chat GPT for Teaching & Learning Tuesday In-Person

This hands-on series is intended for faculty who already know the basics of generative AI and want to explore practical, ethical ways to use it in teaching and learning. Each session focuses on one tool, with time to experiment, discuss, and reflect on how the tool can be used in teaching and learning. Bring your laptop, and pop into one session or join us for the whole series!

ChatGPT is the most widely used GenAI tool. Beyond the basic version, specialized GPTs can save time and provide more context-specific results. Please set up a free ChatGPT account (OpenAI) in advance of the session.

During this session, participants will:

  • Identify the strengths and limits of ChatGPT and specialized GPTs
  • Generate at least one teaching material using ChatGPT
  • Reflect on how AI supports and hinders learning
