Instructional Media Workshop (IMW) In-Person
The Instructional Media Workshop offers participants the opportunity to create, select, use, and rationalize the use of educational media including technology and tools within diverse teaching and learning contexts but also places an emphasis on the practical application of media related concepts, academic integrity and compliance, media approaches and learning theories in the creation and selection of instructional media. Additionally, participants will explore implications of current trends and issues while gaining hands-on experience with a wide array of instructional media tools. This course transfers to Vancouver Community College as PDIP 3240.
The IMW is a co-operative and collaborative learning experience and therefore requires full participation. If you are unable to attend for a particular reason, please let the instructor know as soon as possible and we will try to make alternative arrangements. For synchronous online classes, participants are requested to keep their cameras on and be ready to participate in regular discussions and activities.
This course requires a minimum of 6 registrants to run.
